Its all one big humid blur, to tell the truth. I got there on Thursday at about 9.30am and started setting up the computer. There was a long, sweaty period that involved much running around and sorting things out, barbequing, typing and organising, and then it was over.
It was sort of satisfying, but when I think about it, mostly what come to mind are problems, or things that were hassles. "Fun" doesn't really describe it. I was too uncomfortable to even be much interested in taking photos. Maybe it was just the humidity or (partially self-inflicted) 8.30am - 11.30pm days. Hmm. Much thinking.
On the plus side, it went smoothly for the most part, and I didn't get told about any dud games, so I'm assuming that they were at least entertaining if not good. The prizegiving felt about the right length to me - long enough to be closure, not too long as to be boring. Apologies to folks for not going to the postcon, but I didn't want to drink and I was a little over crowds.
Now we've just got to wrap everything up... should get on it...
