Nope, just holding still :) Took lots, many of them are slightly furry. Pesky caffiene.

Lens flare or grit - you decide!
I've got about 70 shots from last night to look through - could possibly re-crop some of them into vertical (er, of various things at the beach, not just this scene). This was the one that caught my eye when I was flicking through them this morning.

:) Its fine - I'm not particularly precious about the shots I take, as its a bit random as to whether they are good or crap. It was the clouds that caught my eye too. I ran out of battery power just before the sun really disappeared, which was a shame - once the sun had gone, the clouds were still lit up, sort of an electric orange shot.

I'm not sure that the camera will cope with that long an exposure - it was a 1/1000th or 1/500th of a second shot. I'd have to poke the settings... the boat was trundling along a bit - I had to keep skipping along the cliff edge to keep it in the reflected sunlight. :)

you're presuming that it was in the original *makes face* Doesn't look like the camera is saving it into the shots.

That's a diplomatic way of putting it. Its a nikon coolpix 995. It might be that the util I was using just isn't reading the info right - got any suggestions for something to pull it out?

19th-Jan-2006 11:54 pm (UTC) - Bemused....
EXIF ExposureTime (Ratio): 5/2413
EXIF FocalLength (Ratio): 143/5
EXIF ISOSpeedRatings (Short): 100

So 1/500th .. more or less. What an odd ratio.

Nice photo.

Would be pretty easy to gimp out the lens aberration.
