poked me to update about stuff.. but frankly its sort of "no news is good news" :)goldengrove
has been for a couple more midwife appointments, and everything is going fine. All the bloodtests are fine, she has to have the Rh factor injections (we have different +/- blood types), but that's no drama. The baby is about the normal size for a baby, has a heart beat, etc. Official due date is the 27th of September, but both me and Liz are guessing the 15th (family history and cynicism). goldengrove
finishes work at the start of August, giving her at least 6 weeks of rest leading up to the birth which seems like a plan to me.
Marmaduke/sprout is thrashing away. I'm convinced he's looking for the tv remote, an image that makes goldengrove
giggle like an idiot. You can kinda see goldengrove
joggle a bit when he gets a real good kick in.
We went up to Wangaratta and got a bucketload of baby things from Pedro and Tali, which was lovely of them :) We now have a cot and a baby cage and a bunch of other sundry bits and pieces. There's a pram on order because we wanted a new one of those. Parents and various relatives have been going a bit nuts on presents already (Marmaduke is grandchild #2
on respective sides).
Apparently its inappropriate parent behaviour to offer to sell off the sproglings name as advertising space.
