Census night
8th-Aug-2006 02:47 pm
On behalf of genealogists, please tick the "release my information in 99 years" box on the census tonight. Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeease :) It makes life so much easier for people doing research 100 years later...

Damn census is always on a weeknight...I think they're trying to thwart my plan to have a massive sleep-over/party/nightclub/camp event. This of the ways that sorta thing would skew their stats. ;)
[Oh wait, we had that "Jedi" fad last time, yeah.]

why would you do that?

I make anyone a deal - you can skew the census, but you don't then get to complain about, oh I dunno, lack of public transport to your area. Or schools. Or .. well, anything provided on the basis of these numbers. Deal? :)

But the same goes for voting and you see what we got the last few times. :(

Yessssss. At least this has slightly more levels of graduation in the results. *sigh*

I still haven't gotten my census form.

Oh, that's broken. There's some facility to do it online, but I'm not sure if you need the form still...

Apparently you need the form still, even if you are doing it online.

Yes, you need the paper form _and_ another sealed envelope containing your eCensus number. The Census enquiry line is 1300 362 883

Given that we live in an industrial area with no other residential places, I suspect that we've been forgotten :-(

People keep saying that :)

FWIW - my whole household did
