Week 13 - hey, that was me.

More development! Hooray. I dream for the day when Hamish can point at what is making him scream on and off for an entire Sunday. Not that I'm bitter. But still, his hand eye coordination improves, and Piglet suffer for it. For some reason he singles out Piglet from Pooh and Tigger for the heavy beating that they all so clearly deserve. Hanging there like that. Taunting him.

He's also starting to get some control over his vocal chords. This is pretty funny as he makes random noises, looks startled and then makes them a few more times, then grins like an idiot. This process is helped along by any adults also making the same noises, in a strange sort of compulsion. I know this means that its only a matter of time till he starts to scream for fun or demand icecream, but it also means a step further along toward being properly interactive.

This week is being insanely busy, finishing with a long trip to southern NSW this weekend for goldengrove's grandparents 69th wedding anniversary. I'm hoping that a combination of being outside and car noises keeps Hamish settled for most of the 3 or so hours it'll take to drive up there, but we're planning for a few stops just in case. We're going up Friday and coming back late Sunday, so I've taken Monday off work too, and am trying to not plan anything for the weeknights, through to the next weekend where its back to madness and being busy. Stupid silly season :)

Photos, oh yes and also because it amused me, pointless low quality video :-)

Yay for baby human. Cute baby human at that. See, you can't wait til you figure out what he's screaming at, while I can't wait til Chloe is advanced as Hamish and having gained awareness of the limbs that currently are still randomly flailing about and able to smile deliberately (instead of thanks to a particularly vexsome bubble of burp). We all have our eyes on the future!

At least you can SEE their limbs!! I'm just being kicked by them.
